Hello from Old Elements Village Forum

Hello!  I was a rather infrequent visitor to the old Elements Village forum and was dismayed to find out that it closed down in May.  So here I am, looking for a new forum to join to keep learning about Photoshop Elements and joining in some friendly conversations!

I've been using Photoshop Elements since late 2006 and am currently running PSE 11.  One of these days maybe I will get around to upgrading to PSE 13.  I dabbled a few times in the past with Premiere Elements but my old laptop just wasn't really up to running it.  

I haven't had as much time to take pictures the last year or two as I'd like just because of family obligations, but I hope that will change down the road and that I'll get more time to just go out and snap pictures and then come home and play with them in PSE.  I'm hoping that perhaps in the meantime I will get some good ideas and inspiration from forum members for doing some new things with some of my old photos.  One of the things I'm hoping to do is make photo collages out of some of the many pictures I have now of my grandchildren.  I also enjoy playing around with filters and layers to try to make pictures look a little more hand-drawn.
