The IOW process has changed and being a judge has become easier. In an effort to have our galleries reflect more of our members' work, all of the selections made by the judge will be added to the gallery. Basically, the judge will select a few of the images from those that members have added to their galleries. There is no hard and fast rule about how to judge or what to consider. Members who choose to judge decide what appeals to them and how they want to share their choices. What is important is that they take the time to consider which images they would like to call to our attention.
New IOW announcements are made approximately every two weeks. As a result, you would have one turn to judge over the next 6 months. It would be wonderful to add some new names to this group. If you've given thought to being a judge in the past, now might be a good time to give it a try. There is a private board visible to judges where questions can be answered, you can switch your weeks and practice creating your post before it is seen on the website. Feel free to send me a PM or preferably post a reply in this thread. Thanks for considering this request.

- Judging is not an onerous task and the schedule is light.
- Judging is an opportunity to practice image analysis. Why do you like this image (photo) and not another?
- Judging is very subjective with no "rights" or "wrongs."
Thanks to Helen for managing the judging pool and schedule.
