Hi everyone, Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread. - Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. - Photoshopping is allowed but should be kept to the basics only rather than a total transformation. - Grab your camera, experiment, and, most of all, have fun.

Here is my clematis, now in full bloom, Helen. The perfume is fantastic. And my laburnum tree.

Seems like since our wings got clipped a couple months ago (can it be?) that all I've been shooting is flowers in the neighborhood, so I had to smile when I saw the theme. Desperate for a different take, this shot of some leggy California Poppies was taken as they were opening this morning. I used a f/2.2 aperture looking straight down, hoping that only the blossoms would be in focus. I probably could have gone to f/2.5. I'll try to post a more traditional shot as the week goes on. Thanks for the theme Sepiana. Editing to add a more traditional approach, also taken this morning.

A lovely surprise to see these Foxgloves blooming in a suburban front garden. At this time of year they are usually appearing in the countryside, which is forbidden to us at the moment. i.ibb.co/rHCgTFx/Foxgloves-3.jpgBrenda

Excellent subject - unfortunately the polar vortex finished off the magnolia last night but the amelanchier blooms survived. Promising weather for the next few days so hopefully will find more subjects. Tony

I don't often see Fuchsia, so I had to snag a shot of this one.
