This Spit-and-Shine showplace is a good one to start with. Red cedar cut into firewood. Note the surveillance camera guarding the firewood from would-be thieves. There is a real possibility that you could touch something 200 yards away and get electrocuted. Located on Grassy Springs Road in Adair County. Saturday_16-August-2014

20-February-2009 Somewhere in Adair County This is a Gambrel Roof barn. Not a great picture and not good composure, but it is the only one of that barn that I have.

The light-colored barn is a Gambrel Roof barn. The creek in the picture is Little Creek; it will dump into the South Fork of Green River just a couple hundred yards left of the photo. The locals have always called this area "South Fork Creek" ; I don't know why, as the "creek" is actually Green River. South Fork Creek Road Casey County Saturday_05-November-2016

This one is losing the test of time.
Don't they all? Everything we build looks so permanent to us, but not to the trees. I really think that juxtaposition puts it into perspective.
I can't help wondering what your pictures there would look like today...

These barns are on the North side of KY Hwy 100, just West of the metropolis of Fountain Run. The barns are just barely in Allen County. A very few feet East is the Monroe County line. The farm lies in both counties. Another barn, out of the picture to the East, straddles the line and is in both counties. 783-yards(0.44-mile) North of the Gambrel Roof barn is the South-West corner of Barren County. Photo Taken from a Moving Vehicle Westbound KY Hwy 100 Allen County Cumberland River Ferry Roadtrip Wednesday_10-June-2020 I wanted to do a closer crop of the Gambrel Roof one; but, being a through-the-glass moving vehicle photo, there is just not enough pixel-integrity to allow it. I did manage to not get the window frame and mirror in the shot.

Thanks; I don't know why I didn't crop out that pole and clone away the utility vehicle at far right. This will eat at me and I will revisit it someday to make those corrections....; or, I will just swing by there and take more photos; I pass by there quite often.
