Weekly Photo Challenge No. 342 - Movie Titles

Hi everyone,

Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread.

The rules are rather simple.

- Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else.
- Photoshopping is allowed but should be kept to the basics only rather than a total transformation.
- Grab your camera, experiment, and, most of all, have fun.

This picture caught my attention while making the bed this morning......and then I did a search to see if this was just a song title or there was a movie as well.

I can’t believe you’ve missed seeing the movie. It’s actually a pretty complex movie - with an interesting storyline. And the song is so good.

Well I may have seen the movie but don't remember it. It's just when I looked at the picture "The Way We Were" came to mind.......and so it went from there.....picture > thought > song > movie.

Yes....the way I approached this as well.

Note: I thought we had to take a new photo for this. But it seems stock images are okay. So I recalled shots I took of Bali Ha'i in 2010 on the Island of Kauai.

Yes, I think we do. I took a picture of a picture so thought that worked. Never thought it wouldn't till I read your post. Sepiana, if that doesn't work then just ignore my post. Didn't mean to cause a

You are correct. The photo should not come from one’s portfolio/archives; it should be taken specifically for the posted theme.

I see no problem with your entry. It doesn't matter if you took a photo of a photo. It would be the same as taking a photo of a painting, of a sketch, etc. What it matters is that . . . you grabbed your camera and took a photo to interpret Movie Titles.

While in the city today at around 4 PM there were iridescence clouds (aka iridescence irisations of clouds) 

I jazzed up the colors in this so emulate colors of a rising sun, although in this case, the sun was close to setting. The actual colors were very cool. 

The Sun Also Rises is a 1957 film adaptation of the 1926 Ernest Hemingway novel of the same name.

Text can't be skewed unless simplified...that's how the words were tapered.

I think this is a Shetland Pony vs a miniature horse. She's (?) hardly a beauty but friendly and cute in a rugged way.  

There seem to be be many BB movies, not that I'd know since I don't watch movies.
