These two old barns are on the West side of KY Hwy 619/Bernard Ridge. Located between Lucenda Cemetery Road to the North and Half Acre Road to the South. Coon Club Road is immediately across Hwy 619. 37° 01' 24.15" North Latitude 85° 02' 11.65" West Longitude Elevation: 1,018' I am standing in crawdaddy ground, next to the truck I am driving and on the opposite side of the road. John Street Russell County Kentucky Wednesday_15-December-2021 37° 01' 6.46" North Latitude 85° 00' 59.04" West Longitude Elevation: 1013' The angular galvanized apparatus this side of the barn is a corn elevator, used to convey ear-corn into a corn bin or corn crib. They can also be pressed into service as a square hay-bale elevator and actually work better than the purpose-built square-bale elevators, with the exception that the bottom end must remain on the ground. This old barn is on the North side of US Hwy 68, just East of the Fairview community and the junction with KY Hwy 165. 38° 27' 57.08" North Latitude 83° 54' 53.73" West Longitude Elevation: 884' Photo Taken through the glass of a Moving Vehicle It is hard to get optical clarity at 60 mph.
